Monterey’s Dancing Classrooms Students Perform at Moscone Center

This school program, Dancing Classrooms, originated in New York city by Pierre Dulaine. What a treat; the young people danced in the Six Billion Paths to Peace in San Francisco.

Their families must be very proud; a positive view of Monterey youths. They have worked hard and deserve the recognition, so here is hoping someone lets everyone know who all the dancers are.

Footsies Grand Opening at The Barnyard in Carmel

Footsies ribbon-cutting ceremony June 18 had a great turnout. Footsies is a hip shoes and accessories store operated by Shara McIntyre, daughter of the noted Hedi’s shoe line on the Monterey Peninsula.
Notables included Carmel Chamber of Commerce CEO Monta Potter, former Chamber President Thompson Lange (who with brother Beau has opened a new Homescapes in the Barnyard), Donna Ivens of Monterey Peninsula Reservations, and Michael Troutman of DMT Imaging, who remains, yes, passionate about your pictures.
